The Designer

Danielle Canfield began sewing at 12 years old, and in 2008 attended the fashion design program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Florence, Italy, taking courses at Santa Reparata and Accademia Italiana. After graduating with her BFA, she held an internship position at an Italian luxury lingerie brand, Ikonostas. Danielle pursued a master’s degree in Advanced Fashion Design at Polimoda fashion institute in Florence, graduating in 2014. After returning to the United States, she started her own label. Danielle presented at DC, Midwest, and Tiffany’s Paris Fashion Weeks, along with numerous other shows and charity events. Her first collection was featured in British Vogue, followed by a photo shoot in Fashion Faces Magazine. Danielle was interviewed by reporters from BDM TV Paris, NBC Chicago, and Voice of America. She creates innovative, unique, and detailed garments that allow women to feel confident and inspire original thinking.
